Herbie Johnson was a Captain on the Chicago Fire Department. On November 2, 2012 Herbie died while battling a house fire in the Gage Park neighborhood. He was the type of guy that was always there to help in the time of need. He was always there to help anyone who was struggling with a death or illness in their family. After Herbie's death The Herbie Johnson Foundation was founded to keep his memory alive. The foundation assists families that have had a death or profound illness in order to ease financial burdens.
